Sunmin Lee

Sunmin Lee has been materialized a continuous and diverse perspective on women's status and social awareness both inside and outside the family for the past 25 years. Sun-min Lee has shaped human life by expanding the scope of the subject and the object to be explored from the identity of women to extinction, migration, and generation. Through Lee Sun-min's work, the audience reinterprets the relationship and daily life surrounding him and communicates ventilated thoughts about human desires and limitations.

Sunmin Lee was born in Seoul in 1968 and she received her M.F.A. in Photography at Hongik University in Korea. She has been invited to numerous museums and international exhibitions including the National Museum of Contemporary Art, the Seoul Museum of Art, the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, Paris Photoquai Biennale, Japan, China and Hong Kong. He has been selected as the finalist of KT&G and have published <Family and motherhood><From The Father‘s Times><Translocating Women>.
